Accolades: Eli Kulp is Food & Wine's Best New Chef

This morning, Food & Wine editor-in-chief, Dana Cowin, announced the winners for the magazine's Best New Chef and Fork/High Street/A.Kitchen ace, Eli Kulp, took home the victory.

"I'm very excited and honored to be apart of this list," Kulp says. "It's always (silently) been a personal goal of mine, but I'm also very excited for Ellen [Yin, his business partner], as well as my unbelievably talented and dedicated team. It means so much for everyone involved."

Here's what Yin has to say about this awesome win: "I am so unbelievably proud of Eli.  It has taken him many hours and a lot of personal sacrifice to achieve this milestone.  He deserves it!  It also means so much for Fork, High Street, a. kitchen and Philadelphia for Eli to be named amongst a short list of such other accomplished talented young chefs nationwide.  Philly's new generation of chefs are creating a new dining scene that will be recognized nationally.  It's amazing!   Congratulations to all!"

Congrats, Eli!
