The high fives just keep on coming for Eli Kulp and the High Street on Market (308 Market St.) crew. Today Bon Appetit named High Street number two on their list of best new restaurants in America top ten list. We had a feeling this one was coming after reading restaurant and drinks editor Andrew Knowlton's heavy duty Philly eating weekend itinerary back in May.
Head baker Alex Bois gets plenty of love in today's write up: "If, at this point, you are wondering if the No. 2 restaurant on this year's list got here on its dough alone, the answer is—unequivocally and emphatically—a very carby yes."
