BalletX free performance at The Porch delights lunch crowd
Best thing to sneak out of work for all week.

Hopping aboard the fantastic "free arts stuff around the city" bandwagon this week was BalletX, who performed alfresco during the lunch hour at The Porch at 30th Street Station. About 150 people watched as dancers performed highlights from the company's "Winter Series 2014" :
"Slump" by Joshua L. Peugh
"Valentine's Day" by Joshua L. Peugh
"Delicate Balance" by Jodie Gates
"There I Was" by Matthew Neenan
BalletX is the resident dance company of the Wilma Theater, and will continue its 2013-14 season with "Summer Series 2014," July 9-13 at the Wilma. The Porch at 30th Street Station will continue to put on cultural programming through the summer. Check it out at universitycity.org/theporch. BalletX also performed free on Thursday at 6:30 at UArts, with students from Andrew Jackson Elementary School.
