Joe Sixpack's replacement named.
About a month ago we broke the news that Don Russell a.k.a Joe Sixpack was stepping down as executive director of Philly Beer Week. Well, it appears as though the Beer Week board has found a replacement. The Insider is reporting that Kristine Kennedy is taking the reigns. Kennedy's background is heavier on the project managing and organizing side of things than the finer points of racking and pitching. But Beer Week chairman William Reed is sure that Kennedy will keep the ten-day brew fest running smoothly.
