Big Big News: Announcing the Great Sandwiches Event!

Do you like sandwiches? Of course you do!

We're pleased to announce the first ever Great Sandwiches Event, a celebration of all things sandwich-related. On May 28th we're taking over Union Transfer for a night of sandwiches, drinks and good times.

Along with sandwich samples from a hand-selected group of restaurants we're going to have plenty of booze, a sandwich-centric soundtrack courtesy of Holly Sue Allen of Bouffant Bangout and Making Time plus a Chopped-style sandwich making competition. Competing chefs include Vetri heavyweight Brad Spence of Amis, sandwich artist Scott Schroeder of American Sardine Bar and South Philly Tap Room and New York import Eli Kulp of Fork, High Street on Market and a.kitchen.

Tickets for this sure to be totally awesome evening are going for $35 and are available right here. Given our city's general fondness for sandwiches, we have a feeling that this event is going to sell out pretty quick so we suggest you get your tickets ASAP.
