Smash-and-grabs at Fuel, Adobe and Le Virtu.
File this under big bummers: Last night there were a series of smash-and-grab robberies on East Passyunk Avenue. The unidentified robber began at FUEL and made his way down the Avenue hitting Adobe Cafe and Le Virtu sometime around 1:30 a.m. and taking off with cash registres from each restaurant. According to NBC Philadelphia a parking authority employee found the registers discarded around the corner. A fourth, unnamed restaurant was also broken into.
