Some kind of joke about popping bottles.

DANGER!

There are plenty of reasons to be bummed at the PLCB but usually they have more to do with a lacking wine selection and high prices than bodily harm. Yesterday the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported that the liquor board is calling for all bottles of Indigenous Selections Prosecco Brut 2013 to be carefully disposed of following several reports of full wine bottles spontaneously exploding.

Via the Post-Gazette: "Consumers should use caution when handling this product," said Chairman Joseph E. Brion in a statement issued this afternoon. "While we have not had any reports from consumers who may have been affected, we want to take every precaution in order to avoid a safety issue."

Refunds are being issued for the faulty bottles via email lb.consumer@pa.gov or by calling 1-800-272-7522 and pressing 3.

Careful, guys, no sparkling wine-related injuries, please.
