If there's one thing you can fairly expect of jam bands, it's the penchant to prolong the party — whether it's a song that stretches to 60 minutes, or a New Years celebration that runs for six nights. The local trance titans The Disco Biscuits set off their annual New Years Run at the Best Buy Theater in Times Square, with the support of fellow Philly electro jam junkies Brothers Past. The party will rage every night into NYE, with supporting acts Escort, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Consider the Source and Horizon Wireless, culminating on New Years Eve in Madison Square Garden.
