Change Ups: Sushi at CoZara
Ask for sushi and you will receive sushi.

When Hiroyuki "Zama" Tanaka opened CoZara (3200 Chestnut St.) a nearly six months ago he was set on introducing the city to to concept of izakaya (Japanese bar snacks) style of dining.Tanaka told Adam Erace in his June review:
"I wanted to bring what izakaya means in Japan," says Zama, who first started cooking at Camp Zama, the American Army base that eventually provided his nickname. "It's where people go after work, a small-dish-and-drinking scene, not like a general Japanese restaurant."
Unfortunately the city wasn't ready to let Zama's reputation for great sushi go at the new spot. As of today the CoZara crew is introducing a lunch and dinner menu of sushi, sashimi and maki available in combos or a la carte along with a selection of special rolls like the Shrimp & Eel Fiesta with shrimp tempura, asparagus and eel wrapped with soy paper and served with avocado salsa.
