Charter CEO gets three years for stealing from his school
Including the 12 extra "and that's for being a douchebag" months the prosecution sought.

According to a tweet from NewsworksWHYY's Holly Otterbein:
Masai Skief, former CEO of Philly's Harambee charter school, is sentenced to 3 years in prison, followed by 3 years of supervised release.

Guess that "continuing to embezzle from your charter school while facing charges of embezzling from your charter school" didn't go over so well — the prosecutors said they were going for three years instead of two because Skief was, essentially, a big douchebag (well, they referred to the "audacious and repeated nature" of his crimes, but same diff), and they got 'em.
