
Chef Watch: Scott Calhoun in at Lo Spiedo
The latest Vetri spot is looking at a September opening.

We just received word form the Vetri camp that Scott Calhoun, currently a sous at Osteria is in as chef de cuisine at the soon to open Lo Spiedo at the Navy Yard. Lo Spiedo (Italian for 'the spit') is set to open in late September with a menu focusing on rotisserie roasted and smoked meats. With seating for 150 and plans to be open for both lunch and dinner, Lo Spiedo is anticipating a lat September opening.
