"Head Like a Hole" appeared to blow everyone's collective mind.

Immense anticipation turned to wild jubilation when Trent Reznor walked alone onto the Susquehanna Bank Center stage and tore into “Somewhat Damaged,” eventually being joined by his three bandmates. Throughout the night, the band ranged from silhouettes in near darkness to beaming bodies behind screens of colorful and stimulating backdrops. The set list felt almost like a walk through the band’s history, ranging from songs back in the early days — “Closer,” “Only” and “March of the Pigs” — to tracks from the latest album, Hesitation Marks. The main set ended with “Head Like a Hole,” which appeared to blow everyone’s collective mind. After a much-needed break for fans to recoup, Trent and the band quickly returned to the stage for a two-song encore, ending with “Hurt,” before fading away into darkness in the beauty of the night.
