[ 8/28 ] What’s the perfect culmination of dirty words and howls of screaming punk chicks? Get your minds out of the gutter y’all, it was Perfect Pussy and Joanna Gruesome at the Church. With openers Love of Everything and jangly Potty Mouth, the mood was set for Cardiff/UK natives Joanna Gruesome, playing off of their more recent album Weird Sister (Slumberland/Fortuna Pop!) and even a jam off their split with headliner Perfect Pussy. By the end of the night, Perfect Pussy left the crowd sweaty and satisfied, and with only a 20-minute-or-so set to boot. If you missed the show, listen to PP’s Say Yes to Love (Captured Tracks).
