We all tried to mimic the "oh oh oh oh" chorus.

[ 7/13 ] Friday night brought English lads Wild Beasts to Union Transfer, currently on tour in support of their fourth album, Present Tense. Since their 2006 debut, Wild Beasts have defined themselves by their intricate rhythms and melodramatic, romanticized lyrics. With each album, the band has entertained an experimental streak, but remained true to their sweeping sound.

While a majority of the set was tracks off their recent release, they also dove into songs off Smother and Two Dancers, including “Reach A Bit Further,” “Bed Of Nails,” and “Hooting & Howling.” After a short break, Wild Beasts returned to the stage for a three-song encore, beginning with “Wanderlust.” The crowd want from swaying to dancing as the band played “All The King’s Men,” and we all tried to mimic the "oh oh oh oh" chorus. They finished up with “Lion’s Share.” The performance was nothing short of beautiful.
