Pas de deux!

Deals: Pennsylvania Ballet's online silent auction

The Pennsylvania Ballet is holding an online silent auction right now, and apparently they took the “silent” part a bit too literally. It looks like very few people know about it, and even fewer are bidding.  The upside: There are a ton of items bidding at a fraction of their estimated value.

The auction is set to close at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 31 so tarry not, lovers of Swan Lake, The Nutcracker and…. and, those are all the ballets I can name. (Was the Rite of Spring a ballet?  If so, pretend I wrote that above.)

There is a hand painted chuppah, impressive sounding ticket packages, paintings by Brinah Bank Kessler, and a special private performance featuring “ballet’s greatest solos and pas de deux” for you and 15 friends.  Who can say no to ballet’s greatest pas de deux?Other than some ignorant person who doesn’t know what that is, which is definitely not me, no, I’m cultured.

Whether you love ballet or just love a good deal, this online silent auction worth checking out.
