
Dinner Plans: Seafood Dinners on 13th Street
Lobster pasta, ceviche and shrimp boils!

Marcie Turney and Val Safran are celebrating all things seafood at their four Midtown Village spots beginning this Sunday, August 10th and going until Tuesday, August 12th. The dinners are running for $45 a person including a paired beer, wine or cocktail, thematically appropriate, of course. Here's a look at the seafood centric line up:
Baja-inspired Seafood at Lolita (106 South 13th St.)
Vuelva a la Vida or "return to life" seafood cocktail
Snapper Ceviche with scallop, shrimp, crab, squid, Sun Gold cherry tomatoes, cilantro and plantains
Fried Lobster Tostadas with chilled lobster salad, avocado, pickled cabbage and crispy shallots
Baja Grilled Seafood with grilled scallops, shrimp and mahi, avocado-tomatillo salsa, charred green onions and smoky morita pico de gallo
Honeydew-Cucumber Margarita
Crabs & Cans at Jamonera (105 South 13th St.)
Shared Salad of local farm vegetables
Spanish Spiced Blue Crab & Head-on Shrimp Boil, served with saffron new potatoes, grilled corn on the cob, crispy calasparra rice, smoked chive blossom butter, horseradish aioli and fresh lemon
Tasting of four beers: Whale's Tale Pale Ale, Blue Point Summer Ale, Anderson Valley Summer Solstice and Terrapin Recreational
