
Dinner Plans: Summer Comfort Prix Fixe at Pub & Kitchen
It's too hot to cook so...

It is officially too hot to turn of the stove. In lieu of eating ice cream for dinner (not mad...) we're thinking that tonight is a perfect night to head over to Pub & Kitchen (1946 Lombard St.) where chef Eli Collins is hosting his weekly Wednesday night summer comfort dinner. Here's the deal: $18 gets you a serious dinner plus a local pint or spiked lemonade. Not a bad deal, especially after Collins' recent three beller from LaBan.
Tonight's menu is a summertime Mexican dinner with chile de Arbol skirt steak with garlic-lime mojo and avocado mayo coming with roasted corn and queso fresco salsa, three bean salad plus pickled radishes and corn tortillas.
