Our pals at Zagat caught word of a very exciting donut happening going down on Saturday. Frangelli's (847 W Ritner St.), home to the city's most amazing old school donuts is rolling out a new franken-nut this weekend. The Do-nnoli takes a Frangelli's yeasted donut, splits it in half and fills it with chocolate chip-studded ricotta cannoli filling.
Sounds like a dream come true, right? Well, it gets even better. Tomorrow the good folks at Frangelli's are going away a few hundred (!!!) mini Do-nnolis. Genius.
