Nothing new but so, so good.

The daily ricotta is hardly a new menu item at Zavino (112 S. 13th St.) but when we stopped in for lunch today it was just as magical as ever.
Zavino rotates their ricotta (cow's milk, sheep's milk and goat's milk) on a regular basis but it's always whipped to a cloud-like puff of airy cheese and topped with lemon zest, rosemary and good olive oil. Served with a side of chewy-crisp rosemary flatbread and maybe a glass of rosé, Zavino's ricotta makes for a killer summer lunch.
