Flaming-sledgehammer Super Bowl lawyer is from around here

The insane Super Bowl ad for Savannah-area personal-injury lawyer Jeff Casinos that aired in Atlanta markets has gone viral, with more than 2.3 million views on YouTube. But Molly Eichel at the Daily News picked up on something about Casinos' voice as he told the story of his brother's death catalyzing his career switch from defending scumbags to smashing headstones and also injustice with a flaming sledgehammer:

"If you're going to do something like this, you have to have a little Philadelphia in it," Jamie Casino told me with the unmistakable accent of someone from our area.

Truth! Eichel managed to get in touch with Casinos and verified that he is indeed originally from the area; her interview with him discussing the making of his 2-minute, super-metal Super Bowl commercial, which he directed himself, is very funny.
