Great Sandwiches: Introducing Eli Kulp

Editor's Note: In the days leading up to our inaugural GREAT SANDWICHES EVENT happening on May 28th (get your tickets HERE!) we're going to be introducing the sandwich-centric heavy hitters taking part in this totally awesome celebration of sandwiches. Today we've got a familiar face around these parts, Food & Wine magazine's best new chef, Eli Kulp

Favorite sandwich: Italian combo, followed by a close second with a good tuna fish on  toasted white bread.

Least Favorite sandwich: Bad attempts at veggie sandwiches.

Most memorable sandwich experience: Lobster roll at Sesuit Cafe on the Cape in Dennis, Massachusetts.

Best Philadelphia sandwich: High Street's (308 Market St.) roast pork and fermented broccoli rabe or maybe the big black easy I did for American Sardine Bar (1800 Federal St.).

Deal breaker: Bad bread or stale bread.
