Hanger releases gubernatorial campaign video: "Schools Not Jails: Legalize Marijuana"

Former Department of Environmental Protection secretary John Hanger is positioning himself to the left of a crowded field of Democrats hoping to take on vulnerable Gov. Tom Corbett this year. Today, he announced the release of a new campaign video highlighting a position that differentiates him from the rest of the pack: legalize marijuana as a means of ending the schools-to-prison pipeline.
The campaign ad uses footage from a candidate's forum in Philly in November, which I attended. The video is accurate: Hanger's call to legalize marijuana got an overwhelmingly positive response.
