"But there ain't no Wawas in my hood / no doubt / Downtown, South Street, and UPenn / don't count."

In case you haven't seen it yet, this video and song are pretty excellent.

And yeah, I know somebody will point out that there are hardly any Wawas in any neighborhoods anymore, since our beloved regional convenience store chain started prioritizing its gas pumping prowess, but relax. It's a good song. Here are the lyrics, should you want to sing along:

"No Wawa in the Hood"

Ay yo

Stores be on some 7 to 7 cause they must
Then after that it's 7-eleven or Aplus (Aplus?)
But dag man they all so far and in between
They need to be like Wawa
Yo they be gettin' green

See you can find them every 5 blocks up in the suburbs
Most of 'em even got bathroom (what?) word
All the employees wear uniforms and name tags
And don't be tryin to squeeze everything in the same bag

You know that beige bag swag, the red letterin
Damn near every kind you want they got the medicine
And mad flavors when it comes to the coffee
Cause every single thing at Starbucks is too costly

Plus you can fill your tank up
grab some motor oil
Aluminum foil,
eggs hard-boiled

They don't sell loosies
And they card you for your stogies
Touch screen orders
Spinach toppings on my hoagies

But there ain't no wawas in my hood
No doubt
Downtown, south street, and UPenn
Don't count

Plus we need them in the hood
People tryin to get jobs
But I don't really blame Wawa
Cause they ain't tryin to get robbed.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jw3lIlsgjjI
