Jose Garces' fourth outpost of Mexican street food spot, Distrito (400 Route 38, Moorestown, NJ) opens its doors at the Moorestown Mall this evening at 5 p.m. and we got a preview of the swanky new space last night. The vibe is more colorful mid century than workaday Mexican restaurant but there are plenty of smart touches like a wall of luchador masks and walls of tequila bottles.
Expect a similar menu of frozen margaritas (there was a chile-passion fruit frozen pouring last night) and tequila-centric cocktails along with Distrito's always amazing guac, nachos, tacos and some fajitas that aren't available at other locations.
