Openings: Le Peg

Peter Woolsey's new brasserie, Le Peg (140 N. Columbus Blvd.) made it's debut last night. This bilevel space complete with outdoor beer garden and river views is kicking off the season with smart menu of traditional and reimagined bistro fare like steak frites and choucroute garni along with a pho consomme, roasted bone marrow with scrabbled eggs and a Fringe burger with bacon and caramelized onion reduction, pickles, corn shoots and a smear of Delice de Bourgogne cheese. Additional menu highlights include a nightly $30 prix fixe menu and some serious sundaes for dessert.
