Rick Bayless's Mexi-quick-serve U-City spot, Tortas Frontera is now abierto. Located at 3601 Locust Walk, Tortas Frontera is serving up a menu of tortas (obviously - think quaso & jamon, conchinita pibil and roasted garlic mushroom) along with cazuelas ("Mexican meals in a bowl"), caldos, i.e. green and red chile soups finished to order with your choice of meaty add-ins plus garnish your own guac, Mexican flatebreads called molletes and a handful of salad and breakfast options.
