Here's hoping this guy got the transfer.

The Daily News just reported that, after being shot at 7 in the morning, a West Philadelphia man attempted to take SEPTA to the hospital:

It's not clear what sparked the shooting, but the man was hit once in the leg. He then stumbled a few blocks to 57th Street and Baltimore Avenue, where he hailed one of SEPTA's Route G buses. After a brief conversation with the driver, during which he admitted he had just been shot, the man got off the bus and crossed the street to board one heading northbound toward Lankenau Medical Center, SEPTA spokeswoman Heather Redfern said.

Here's hoping he got the transfer! Damn. The guy ended up transferring to an actual ambulance when the bus got to Baltimore, and is at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
