This is obviously the best thing ever.
File this under totally incredible news: Pizza Underground, Macaulay Culkin's new pizza-themed Velvet Underground tribute band played their first show this weekend in Brooklyn. If you're a fan of Home Alone. Lou Reed, or just pizza this is obviously something that you need in your life. Head on over to Bandcamp to hear an eight minute medley of PU's pizza-centric VU covers including "Cheese Days," "All the Pizza Parties" and "Papa John Says." It's really kind of beautiful.
And in even more beautiful news, Pizza Underground is in collaboration talks with our very own Pizza Brain (well, at least on Twitter), so fingers crossed for an in-store performance sometime in the future.
