Poor Fox 29 reporter engulfed by snow tsunami doesn't miss a beat
Look out for that plow, Steve Keeley!

No snowstorm can go unremarked upon by a slew of TV news reporters in parkas standing by the side of the road to demonstrate that it is, indeed, crappy outside. Poor Steve Keeley of Fox 29 was out on one of those "stand in the snow at 6:30 in the morning" assignments (which, btw, are the only things that occasionally make us feel smart for choosing to go into print journalism) this morning in New Jersey when a line of plows driving by hit him with a truly astonishing amount of snow.
Amazingly, though a couple anonymous people behind the camera scream, he barely changes his tone of voice. It is extremely impressive.
I especially like the horrified-sympathetic "Steve!" from behind the camera.
Keeley apparently had to write up the story "FOX 29's Steve Keeley Goes Up Against Snowplow" himself, as his byline is on it. Keeley talks about himself in the third person the whole time, even briefly quoting himself on how this is inevitably going to be viral:
Keeley also had some fun with the incident, telling "Good Day Philadelphia's" Mike Jerrick, "You know I've spent my whole time here, ever since the invention of YouTube, I have done everything I could to avoid being a YouTube star, and I think that hit will be on YouTube."
Your intuition is correct, Steve Keeley. But take solace in the fact that you come off way better than the previous Fox 29 reporter involved in a weather-related viral video, Karen Hepp. (Her apocalyptic predictions were, like, less than a month ago.)
