Pop-Ups: Kensington Quarters Fried Chicken tonight at Cafe Lift
Fried chicken and bluegrass preview tonight.

Feel like chicken tonight? Well, head over to Cafe Lift (428 N. 13th St.) at 6 p.m. for a fried chicken preview of Kensington Quarters, the upcoming butcher shop-bar-restaurant-classroom from Michael Pasquarello (of Bufad and Prohibition Taproom) and head butcher Bryan Mayer formerly of Fleisher's Meats out of New York.
Look forward to pastured chickens from Lancaster's Silver Spring Acres fried in tallow (you know, delicious beef fat) plus cole slaw, macaroni salad and a biscuit for $15. The pop-up is BYO so bring along some beers. Added bonus: local bluegrass duo The Outlanders will be on hand for your fiddle and banjo enjoyment.
