So much SPAM!

Pop Ups: SPAM-ily & Friends at American Sardine Bar

Fans of potted meat and Filipino food mark those calendars, on Wednesday, August 27th SPAM-ily & Friends is popping up at American Sardine Bar (1800 Federal St.). This night of all things SPAM is being hosted by City Paper photographer extraordinaire Neal Santos, Meal Ticket founder Drew Lazor and ASB/SPTR chef Scott Schroeder.

Starting at 6 p.m. they're going to be serving up a menu of Filipino-accented snacks with a SPAM heavy lean like SPAM pandesal sliders, SPAM fried rice lumpia, SPAM corn dogs, SPAM tacos and SPAM mac 'n' cheese. And to add even more canned meat intrigue SPAM is sending the pop up crew a mixed pack of flavor SPAM including Bacon, Teriyaki and Hot & Spicy.

Last year's pop up was a wild success so we suggest getting there nice and early (party starts at 6 p.m.) to make sure you get in on the SPAM action.
