Drinks in coconuts and everyone gets lei-ed.

Previews: The Yachtsman

Danya Henninger

The City of Philadelphia is about to be relived of a very long tiki drink drought thanks to the imminent opening of tropical paradise/bar, The Yachtsman.

Our pals at Zagat got a sneak peek at the Fishtown spot and we have to say it looks totally amazing. Aside from the thatched bar and a Polynesian sunset mural there are angry tiki god heads, talk of drinks served in coconuts (!!!) and plans to have a rotating crew of bartenders man the blenders. Oh and everyone who comes in gets a lei. Pretty awesome, right? Head on over to Zagat for the full preview plus a look a the cocktail lineup
