Please note: This article is published as an archive copy from Philadelphia City Paper. My City Paper is not affiliated with Philadelphia City Paper. Philadelphia City Paper was an alternative weekly newspaper in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The last edition was published on October 8, 2015.

Welcome to Q and Art, where we ask local artists the same set of questions then they give us the name of the next artist to interview. In this interview, we talk to Daniela and Justin Fullam of Little Punk People.

1) Tell us a little about your background.
Daniela: I went to The Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC, and I have been painting almost my whole life. A lot of my art is based on every day people who I meet, and a big inspiration these days is our son, Elliott. We are also very influenced by music and good movies, especially anything horror-related and weirdly funny. We have been doing this more as a serious venture called Little Punk People for three years now and it's been a blast!

2) What are you currently working on?
Daniela: I have been keeping busy as usual working on custom orders for our awesome clients. And as always, new stuff for upcoming shows, like paintings, hand-painted cookie jars & vinyl figures. Busy, busy!

Justin: I've been getting a series of fun interviews going with our son and good bands, as well as other interesting people and artists. So far we have video interviews with Ghost BC, Keith Morris from OFF! and Black Flag, and NJ punk band Night Birds up, among others. (Check em out at www.youtube.com/littlepunkpeople!)

3) What's your favorite thing to eat locally?
Justin and Daniela: When we are in Philly, we like to go to New Harmony vegetarian restaurant over on 9th street, and we also like to hit up El Vez on 13th Street for a good beer and Mexican Food. We also tried Vegan Tree on South Street once and liked it a lot. We love food!

4) What's your favorite thing to do in this area?
Justin and Daniela: Other than just walking around, eating good food and checking things out, we love the Philly Punk Rock Flea Market. We also love doing the Monster Mania convention which is close by in Cherry Hill, NJ.

5) Give us your insider tip to the city.
Justin: Once again, we are fans of the Philly Punk Rock Flea Market! It's a great event for record shopping, art shopping, hanging out, collectibles, and even food. The Philly Comic Con is cool, too; although we won't have a booth there this year because we have other shows booked. The last couple of years there was fun. Maybe next year!

6) And finally, pick the next artist for us to interview.
Justin and Daniela: Nicole & Nicole from Rainbow Alternative.
