THIS NEW MENU!

Re-openings: a.kitchen

Tonight at 5:30 a.kitchen is debuting their new menu courtesy of Eli Kulp and chef de cuisine John Nodler, and as we pretty much figured, the lineup is looking out of control amazing. Kulp and company are calling the newly introduced menu 'elemental American cuisine' and focusing heavily on a newly installed, custom-made hardwood charcoal grill. Broken down into five subcategories - tastes to start, mostly raw, small plates, charcoal grilled and sides, the menu is geared towards sharing and filled with thrilling plates that have Fork and High Street written all over them.

There are uni-topped rice cakes with pork jowl and mustard to start, beef tartare with béarnaise and potato skins, grilled Dover sole with a brown butter-lime sauce and of course, a bread box with seasonal rolls and house-made butter. Here's a look at the full menu

With a menu like this paired with David Field's incredible wine list, we're more than a little excited about this new incarnation of a.kitchen and cannot wait to see what's going to happen at a.bar.
