Running for the exits at the Philly dailies
Three top business-side executives and three philly.com website leaders turn in their resignations.
The turmoil never ends at the Philly dailies. Three top executvies handed in their resignations late last week after saying they could not work with Brian Tierney or his top lieutenant, Mark Frisby. Tierney was brought in by owner Gerry Lenfest to be a "sales consultant" yet seems to be running the place. Then, on Monday, three top web producers resigned after a dispiriting meeting with Tierney, who complained about a drop in site traffic and later began meddling in the order of news stories on the website.
