Snow day means time to start day drinking, right?

Snow Day PSA: Drink Deals

Hopefully by now your boss has let you go for the day and given you the good news that there's no reason to come in tomorrow either. So it's time to start drinking, right? RIGHT!

Plenty of bars and restaurants around town are braving the weather for your snow day eating and drinking pleasure and some of them are offering up some pretty sweet deals. Here's a look at some snow day highlights:

Brew ‎(1900 S. 15th St.) is offering up $4 pints to drink in plus growlers and six packs to go.

Jake's Sandwich Board (122 S. 12th St.) is offering a 10% discount on all sandwiches for each inch of snow that accumulates. That means that if we get past 10 inches, Jake's is going to have to pay you to eat sandwiches.

The Tap Room on 19th (2400 S. 19th St.) is going south of the border with $2 taco Tuesday deals until 1 a.m. So if you start eating tacos right now, you can do some serious damage.

Brauhaus Schmitz (718 South St.) is bringing back their brown bag mystery special in honor of the second coming of the polar vortex.

If you're looking for trouble we suggest you hit up Cedar Point Bar and Kitchen (2370 E. Norris St.) where they're pouring $5 Sazeracs all day long.

Or for something a little more family friendly, Magpie‎ (1622 South St.) is steaming up hot chocolate for $2.50.
