A new song by Little Big League offshoot Japanese Breakfast.
Slow Bump. Make it last all summer.
Negative creep.
There's a difference between street art and bro art, usually.
I am Swaggie.
Saw Costa Rica vs. Ireland in a friendly. Blood was shed.
Whith.
Cob.
Love to Cut Your Hair.
Waar Is Mijn Hoofd.
Very few monuments and memorials take the time to define heroism.
I choose to interpret this as a commentary on airport delays.
They remembered to remove the bell first.
May you find what you seek.
Walmart thinks these are clementines. Walmart hasn't slept in a very long time.
Judge a mango by whether or not the grocery store encourages manhandling.
Nothing feels right except these mangos.
Ugh. Let's all agree that we hate this place and that we'll never go there. Dumbass street teams shills painting our sidewalks.
Sweating beer.
The distinguished lady.
The creatures outside looked from robot to man, and from man to robot, and from robot to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.
Michelle Zauner — Little Big League's drumkit-crashing frontwoman — recently dropped a solo album under the name Japanese Breakfast. The album's called Where Is My Great Big Feeling, and it's super dreamy and lo-fi. "Pure Handjob" is the quasi-title track and not really as dirty as you might think (but still a little dirty). I like how she seems to run out of room for a few connecting thoughts and words, despite the low-speed tempo. I like a puzzler. For the origins of these and other great songs, check out Song A Day for a Week.
I post these little slideshows when nobody's looking. 1, 2, 3.
