That film starring Woody Allen as a pimp premieres in Philly next week
Allen takes on a bizarre (and ballsy) role in Fading Gigolo.

The last time Woody Allen appeared in a film he didn't direct was in 2000, which makes his return to the silver screen as a pimp in actor/writer/director John Turturro's comedy Fading Gigolo all the more bizarre and kind of ballsy in light of recent allegations.
In short, Allen plays a struggling book dealer who sets up his friend Fioravante (John Turturro) with two women looking for a threesome (Sharon Stone and Sofia Vergara). There's money, moral qualms, a Hasidic love interest and even an appearance by Jill Scott.
Fading Gigolo kicks off the Philadelphia Jewish Film Festival next week on Monday, March 10, which could be your one chance to see the film in theaters.
