In today’s edition of I Fucking Love Philly, I just went into a bodega behind a possibly homeless man who had a pet squirrel on a leash.

According to comments on various posts, this man lives on Chester Ave., has had the squirrel since birth and frequently takes it to the store. He also has raccoons.
(I had a pet baby squirrel for about half an hour when I was a kid. It was in the park wandering around, looking very lost, and I was there with a few kids and no parents. I went up to it and held out my hand to smell like it was a cat, and it just calmly walked onto my hand and then up my arm and appeared very happy sitting on my shoulder, like Rah Rah does in this video. Obviously, my mom freaked out and made me put it back where I found it when I brought it into the house.)
