As our dedicated and fantastic City Paper interns dug through our photo archives last week for a shot for another story, they came across a lot of cool shots of events and people, from all over the city, from years past.
We'll be posting a few of these shots every week as part of our Throwback Thursday posts, and they'll be themed. This week, the theme is "protests." So apropos of nothing, and without much context (since some of these shots really have no identifying information; if you have any, tell us!), the photos are above, demonstrating just how feisty Philly can be.
