For today's edition of our Valentine's Day Planner we're keeping it simple with a nod to one of our favorite bars in the city, Fountain Porter (1601 S. 10th St.). With killer $5 burgers and an ever-changing, always-intriguing draft list, there really isn't too much deciding to be done at Fountain Porter, you and your lucky date are going to be having burgers and beers.
But is it romantic? Well, yeah, it really is. The soundtrack at this corner bar comes courtesy of a well-curated record collection and turntable behind the bar plus a handful of bartenders with excellent taste in music. Plus the back room has plenty of cozy candlelit seating.
