Weekend Planner: Black Seed Bagel Pop-Up and VegFest
Montreal-style bagels and plant-based diet fest happening this weekend.

Vegans, vegetarians and plant-based diet supporters, listen up: Tomorrow is the first ever Philadelphia VegFest. It's happening tomorrow from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Shambles at Headhouse Square. Be on the lookout for demos from local veg-celebs like Rachel Klein of Miss Rachel's Vegan Pantry and Rich Landau of Vedge and the soon-to-open vegan street food spot, V Street.
On Sunday head over to American Sardine Bar (1800 Federal St.) for a Montreal-style bagel and smoked meat pop-up courtesy of Noah Bernamoff and Philly native Josh Sobel of New York's Mile End and buzziest bagel shop, Black Seed Bagels. This one kicks off at 11 a.m. and we highly suggest getting there nice and early to get in on the brunch action.
