Zimmerman fight back on, but without DMX and probably not in Philly

The profits will now go to Trayvon Martin Foundation, because that makes it totally OK.

Zimmerman fight back on, but without DMX and probably not in Philly

If you must know, the Zimmerman fight is back on. The thing has been a big waffle from its inception, and . According to PhillyMag's Victor Fiorillo, it's on for March 15, but original Philly-area D-list-celebrity-boxing promoter Damon Feldman is no longer involved:

British billionaire Alki David, who phoned in his presence at the press conference and spoke via speakerphone, confirms that the fight will happen on March 15th at an undisclosed location. DMX has not been confirmed as the opponent. David says that there are eight potential opponents.

The fight will be broadcast online and on cable TV in Europe. According to David, the venue will not be open to the general public. "It would turn into a bloodbath," said Feldman's publicist.

TMZ has even more bizarre details

The fight will no longer be a celebrity boxing match... "this is going to be like Fight Club ... a very bloody event." Alki says the fight will happen March 15 from a secret location ... and all profits will go to the Trayvon Martin Foundation.

Because that makes it totally OK. Gross. At least if it's not in Philly anymore, we'll stop feeling compelled to talk about this embarrassment to our city. Hell, we're not even sure we should have written this blog post.
