Sunday School Wine Week Kickoff “Jura Jaunt” | Sun., March 23, noon-midnight, pay-as-you-go
Tria’s wine-education mission is going into overdrive this Wine Week, starting with a very special Sunday School pour from the Jura region of France, a savagnin “La Pierre” from Les Granges Paquenesses. What Not to Pair | Monday, March 24, 9-11 p.m., $30
Although the focus at Brauhaus Schmitz is generally beer and schnapps, Philadelphia-based wine writer Marnie Old is taking over on Monday with a pairing class geared toward industry folks and wine enthusiasts alike. Wine Quizzo | Tuesday, March 25, 9-11:30 p.m., pay-as-you-go
Not for the faint of heart or regular Franzia drinker, Vintage’s Wine Quizzo is the place for you and your fellow wine nerds to show off your vino-trivia chops. Women and Wine Happy Hour | Wednesday, March 26, 8-10 p.m., pay-as-you-go
On Wednesday, three of Philadelphia’s top women in wine are coming together for a special happy hour at Panorama. Natural wine importer and distributor Megan Storm of The Artisan’s Cellar is being joined by Gordana Kostovski, sommelier at Jose Garces’ soon-to-open Volvér, and Lauren Harris, general manager/sommelier of another spring opener, Townsend, on East Passyunk. All of the by-the-glass offerings on Panorama’s impressive list are going for half price and there will be a screening of Senza Trucco, an Italian documentary about women and natural wine. Garden of France: Loire Valley Happy Hour | Thursday, March 27, 4-6 p.m., pay-as-you-go

Champagneria Pop-Up Lunch | Friday, March 28. noon-4 p.m., pay-as-you-go

Sherry 101 | Sunday, March 30, 2-3:30 p.m., $75
Barbuzzo/Little Nonna’s/Jamonera beverage director Terence Lewis is wrapping up Wine Week with a Sunday afternoon sherry-intensive event, showcasing seven sherries (and snacks!) that are guaranteed to open your mind to this Spanish sipper.
