Washed Out
[ 6/12 ] I drove to Lancaster through what appeared to be a monsoon to catch one of my favorite bands, Washed Out. (Got washed out going to Washed Out — appropriate, right?) The Chameleon Club is nestled deep in the heart of Lancaster City, and while small and cramped, it’s fitting for this band’s mellow vibes. Each band member took the stage slowly. Bells chimed lightly, birds chirped and guitars strummed, and it was all an entranceway “It All Feels Right.” Frontman Ernest Greene’s mesmerizing voice glazed over the intimate percussions and synthesizers.
