Allman Brothers, Trey Anastasio Band, Tedeschi Trucks Band and Gov't Mule and more.

This Thursday the legendary Allman Brothers Band is bringing the third annual Peach Music Festival to Montage Mountain Resort in Scranton. Headlining the bill of over 50 acts — double the size of last year’s lineup — are the Allman Brothers, Trey Anastasio Band, Tedeschi Trucks Band and Gov’t Mule. The Allman Brothers will play two nights, including a performance of Eat A Peach in its entirety. Bob Weir and Ratdog’s tour cancellation last week may give Phish fans more reason to smile as it was announced days ago that Trey Anastasio Band will now perform a second night in one of Weir’s time slots, and a special collaborative Dead Set will occupy the other. In addition to jam rock the festival brings funk bands, late night electronic acts, and even access to the onsite water park with your pass. Fans on the fence about attending might want to consider Gregg Allman’s statement in January that the Allman Brothers Band would no longer tour after 2014. With the end looming you can be certain these sets at the Peach are not to be missed. 4-Day camping passes and single day tickets are still available on the festival website.

Thu.-Sun., Aug. 14-17, Montage Mountain, Scranton, PA, thepeachmusicfestival.com.
