
Amanda Knox redeveloping her relationship with freedom




Amanda Knox is in New York to promote her new Netflix true crime documentary "Amanda Knox" and to raise awareness of other victims accused wrongfully of committing a crime.
The "Amanda Knox" documentary further investigates the murder of exchange student Meredith Kercher who was found fatally stabbed in a home she shared with Knox in Perugia on the morning of November 1, 2007. Knox was convicted then freed, convicted again and then found innocent by Italy's highest court.
Amanda Knox expressed she participated in the documentary to explain what if feels like to be wrongfully convicted and how a regular person could be caught up in a nightmare and portrayed of something they are not. Knox said she was not paid for her participation in the documentary.
"Amanda Knox" will premier on Netflix at midnight on September 30th.
