City elections board chairman votes — finally
City Commissioner Chair Anthony Clark voted today at his polling place in the Lower Northeast.

A spokesman for City Commissioner Chair Anthony Clark says he voted today at his polling place in the Lower Northeast.
That the chair of the city's election board voted shouldn't be newsworthy, but a City Paper investigation last month revealed that Clark had not voted since 2011, missing the last five primary and general elections, including the 2012 Presidential.
Commissioner Clark's chief deputy, Carla Moss, confirmed that Clark voted in person this morning and that he was working in the field today.
"He's trying to make sure [the election] runs smoothly. Trying to correct any problems that arise," said Moss.
Clark voted in the 62nd Ward in Northeast Philly, where he is registered to vote. Clark is also the ward leader of the 28th Ward, in Strawberry Mansion, even though the Philadelphia Democratic Party rules require ward leaders to be registered in the ward they represent.
Clark was first elected a city commissioner in 2007.
This story has been amended. A previous version erronously said Clark had voted in Castor Gardens.
