[ 11/13 ] Caribou opened with the title track from its latest release, Our Love, then tore through “Silver” and Mars.” The packed crowd danced and swayed along, mesmerized by the pounding drumbeats and strobe lights. They also played a few tracks off 2010’s Swim, highlighted by “Odessa.” Singer/mastermind Snaith went crazy shaking his tambourine and jamming on the recorder. (Remember that lame instrument from elementary school? Well, Caribou makes it cool.) After ending their set with “Can’t Do Without You,” they left the stage only to run right back on to do “Sun” as an encore. We exited beaming into the chilly night.
