With hair sweat-stuck to his brow, Arcade Fire’s Will Butler stirred a sold-out Boot & Saddle crowd with his voice, his guitar and the harmony driven songs from his debut solo record Policy. Butler has always brought his all to the stage, pouring every ounce of energy into destroying drums and leading sing alongs to infectious anthems. His intimate stage show is as dynamic as one could ever want. His voice recalled not just his brother Win (Arcade Fire’s leader) but also Neil Young at times.

New York-based four-piece Teen opened. Hinting at St. Vincent and soul, they set the mood for the kinetic experience to follow.
